On a rainy day in an atypical December around the world, I decide to look inside myself. Questioning and looking for answers to “what motivates me?” “What do I like?” And the hardest question of all, “who am I?”
Constantly wandering through the fields that made me a person, I search for memories that allow me to travel back to my childhood. I'm looking for the unexpected, the surprise. Just like in the past, when lack of control and impressionability prevailed.
For this project I wanted to convey exactly that. I turned the focus to the rural area of my homeland, Travanca, municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. Creating my "Playground" in this well-defined terrain. Where I let the photograph answer the questions I asked myself. One of them remains unanswered, “who am I?”
